On a walk through Ogden Nature Center last Spring, set against a stunning backdrop of the Wasatch Mountains, I spied a structure with an interesting window that didn't seem to fit with its function. Not knowing the building's history and given what appears to be stalls that run its length, I imagined it to be some kind of barn. In my mind's eye, I envisioned what a homestead might have looked like here.
