Ogden Nature Walk Barn, Reimagined
Tam Douglas
$375.00
Dimensions: 12 x 16 Artist's Statement about this work: On a walk through Ogden Nature Center last Spring, set against a stunning backdrop of the Wasatch Mountains, I spied a structure with an interesting window that didn't seem to fit with its function. Not knowing the building's history and given what appears to be stalls that run its length, I imagined it to be some kind of barn. In my mind's eye, I envisioned what a homestead might have looked like here.
Multnomah Falls, Reimagined
Tam Douglas
$325.00
Dimensions: 14 x 11 Artist's Statement about this work: In the early 2000s, we lived in Oregon, and Multnomah Falls was a favorite destination. From lush Pacific Northwest foliage to breathtaking waterfalls and architecturally interesting bridges, the region was a veritable expanse of stunning places to explore. After moving to northern Utah, though, I fell in love with snow, mountains, and a myriad of outdoor fun here. I’ve often imagined some of my previous favorite locations (Multnomah Falls) set in my now favorite setting - moody winterscape.

The Message II
Joyce Baron
$3,000.00
Dimensions: 22 x 30 Artist's Statement about this work: I LOVE colors, shapes and opposing energies. I select my colors based not only on their hue but also by their potential interaction with other colors. The conflict or collaboration between colors brings out the emotion of a painting. In my painting “The Message II” I wanted to highlight the conflict between two opposing forces such as light and dark, hot and cold, or wet and dry such as desert and lake. I then add shapes and figures to orchestrate and enhance the conflict. I love the feelings expressed in “The Message II”. I hope that you can experience your own awe inspiring vision of “The Message II” while you participate in my painting
