I was biking through a village in the French countryside that was established in the 1200s, and I stopped to admire a wonderful, old door. When I looked more closely, I say a pair of eyes peering out of a hole at the bottom of the door. I sat on the cobblestones to have a conversation with this cat, and his expression never changed. I tried English and French, and he wasn't having any of it. Hence the title, "Just Go Away."
