Dimensions: 9 x 12 x 0.0125 Artist's Statement about this work: Near the end of June, Conrad started this painting at Sego Lily Gardens in Sandy, Utah at 1472 E Sego Lily Drive (10200 S). First off, it was a great location in the park. It is the first time Conrad's participated in a timed paint-off event. For him, the subject matter was probably too complicated to execute in little over a couple of hours. As a result, the deadline closed in on him and he wasn't finished to his satisfaction. Unfinished, he submitted it to the show that followed the event. Itching to finish the piece, a month later he picked up the painting and finished it in his studio.
